A new study conducted by Kantar, one of the world’s leading marketing data and analytics companies, has found that AccuWeather provided the most accurate and most effective hurricane forecasts during the 2024 Atlantic hurricane season, outperforming the National Hurricane Center (NHC) and all other known sources.

February 2, 2025: AccuWeather provided 24 hours of advance notice of slippery roads due to snow in north-central Pennsylvania, while the National Weather Service issued its advisory after the precipitation had already begun.
December 22 – 25, 2022: Two weeks in advance, AccuWeather accurately predicted one of the most significant winter storms to hit the U.S. in years.
