The Ohio River Valley to the central Appalachians will see snow accumulation, with the heaviest snow falling across northern New England. Snow amounts of up to 3 inches can fall across portions of Ohio and Pennsylvania toward coastal Maine. Snowfall of up to 6 inches is possible in the central Appalachians and from northern Pennsylvania on north across upstate New York and the interior of New England. The heaviest snowfall of more than a foot is anticipated across northern New England to parts of Canada. There is an AccuWeather Local StormMax™ of 24 inches through Monday evening.
The snowfall will lead to treacherous road conditions and dangerous travel. Disruptions to logistical operations are expected, with heavy snowfall leading to road closures, downed trees, and travel delays.
