Heavy rainfall could bring significant flooding to Southwest

WIDESPREAD FLOODING THREAT
A surge of moisture will move into portions of the southern Rockies and the southern Great Plains, bringing the high potential for flooding across much of central and southern Texas early next week. As far as western Louisiana, some parts of New Mexico could also see some flooding. The rain will also bring relief from drought conditions in these areas.

Businesses in these areas should keep an eye on this system and should: 

• Identify hazards most likely to impact your location & cause business disruptions. 
• Take steps to minimize inventory loss due to flooding. If your warehouse is in a low-lying area, you should take precautions.
• Prepare for possible disruption to ground logistics due to road closures, flooded roads, and power outages.
