A blast of winter to bring high winds, cold temperatures, and snow to the Midwest and Northeast

SNOW, RAIN, AND BITTER COLD TEMPERATURES

A major storm that will bring severe weather across the south-central U.S. will bring accumulating snow across the Upper Midwest starting Tuesday afternoon. AccuWeather meteorologists warn the snow can lead to treacherous road conditions and travel disruptions.  There is an AccuWeather Local StormMax™ of 20 inches for the Colorado Rockies.

Cold air will drop temperatures for the first day of December on Thursday across the East.
