Advance notice matters

This November, a rare outbreak of severe weather across Connecticut, New Jersey, New York, and Rhode Island resulted in a dozen tornadoes touching down and causing major damage across the area. During this time, AccuWeather’s enterprise-level service, SkyGuard, provided crucial warnings to clients more than 3 hours ahead of public warnings, including warnings from the National Weather Service (NWS). AccuWeather’s early warnings played a key role in businesses protecting their assets and employees. Luckily, despite the major damage to structures, no fatalities were reported.
