Several inches of rain may fall, especially from the coast to the western slopes of the Cascades. **Burn scar areas may be at greatest risk for significant flash flooding and mudslides.** **![NWSnow11Nov2p](https://afb.accuweather.com/hs-fs/hubfs/NWSnow11Nov2p.jpg?width=1920&name=NWSnow11Nov2p.jpg)** Heavy snow is expected over the Cascades and farther inland over higher terrain to the northern Rockies into this weekend. The higher elevations of the Cascades and northern Rockies may have blizzard conditions with the potential for **over two feet of snow.** Closures should be anticipated for some of the major passes in these regions.
