Key Highlights #### Threats: Heavy rainfall, thunderstorms, gusty winds #### States affected: East Coast #### When: Saturday, October 22 - Monday, October 24, 2022 **COASTAL STORM CONCERNS** Organizing storms near the northern Bahamas will bring the threat of rain and gusty winds up the East Coast this weekend and into early next week. The severity of the storms will depend on the storm's track, strength, and nature.  Before the storm hits, Mid-Atlantic and Northeastern states will see a significant warmup Friday and Saturday, along with dry conditions. Beaches from the Outer Banks will be in the threat zone up to southern New England. The impacts would be similar to a tropical system, with possible wind, rain, and minor coastal flooding.
